Looking for STEM partners

Thinkoutique [팅쿠티쿠] (Think-out Boutique) English-Speaking STEM Partner Wanted For a small inquiry atelier for children aged 5–6 Thinkoutique uses everyday objects to help children encounter real phenomena, stay with their questions, change conditions, and eventually design outcomes with intention. Rather than giving children ready-made answers, we leave them with a productive sense of wonder — a question they can return to, hold, and shape with their own hands. Each session will be designed for a small group of 4–6 children, with 2–3 assistants supporting observation, safety, and hands-on exploration. THIS IS NOT an ENGLISH LESSON. 세션중에는 영어/한국어를 같이 사용합니다. 두 언어의 혼용은 속도, 궤적, 점성 같은 한자어로 현상을 빨리 정의하지 않고, 눈앞의 변화와 느낌에 더 오래 머물도록 하기 위한 장치입니다. 의도적인 언어적 거리두기를 통하여, 우리는 정의보다 현상 그 자체에 더 오래 머물고자 합니다. (+) Backgrounds in STEM, design, botanist, music, or other observation-based fields are also welcome. — — Hi, we are preparing a small inquiry-based atelier for our own children and a few children in the neighborhood. The sessions will be led by my wife, our non-Korean founding curator. She has an international STEM background and completed an English-taught degree program through a French university system. We are currently looking to see if there may be someone nearby who could join us as an English-speaking STEM partner. We are looking for a native or near-native English speaker with a background in engineering, science, natural sciences, or another STEM-related field. The ideal person is someone who enjoys observing children rather than instructing them, and who can wait with a child’s question instead of rushing to give an answer. Applicants who are currently on a career break in Korea, or who would like to reconnect with their STEM background through meaningful part-time work, are very welcome.
