English Discussion Tutor

English Reading & Discussion Tutor Wanted We are looking for an experienced English tutor to work with two elementary school children in a native-level English environment. What we are looking for: Conduct lessons entirely in English. Read English books with the children and engage them in meaningful discussions. Encourage critical thinking and help them express their own ideas confidently in English. Go beyond vocabulary and grammar, focusing on conversation, reasoning, and discussion skills. Ideal Candidate: Native English speaker or near-native fluency. Experience teaching children, especially in reading and discussion classes. Passionate about literature, communication, and helping children think independently. Able to create a warm, engaging, and intellectually stimulating learning environment. Lesson Examples: Retelling stories in their own words. Discussing characters' decisions and motivations. Exploring questions such as: What would you do if you were the main character? Do you agree with the character's decision? Why or why not? How does this story relate to our lives today? Our Goal We want our children not just to learn English, but to think in English, express their own ideas, and enjoy meaningful conversations through books.
