### Looking for a Native English Tutor for My 7-Year-Old Son I am looking for a friendly, patient **native English speaker from the US or Canada** to help my son enjoy speaking English through play and conversation. **About my son:** He will start elementary school next year. He has never attended an English kindergarten but knows basic vocabulary and common expressions. He enjoys English videos, understands their content, and likes making up his own expressions. I believe listening and speaking freely are more important than learning to read and write at this stage, so we have not started phonics. **Lesson details** * Frequency: 1–2 times a week, 45–50 minutes each * Location: Our home near Bongcheon Station, Gwanak-gu, Seoul * Pay: KRW 30,000/hour * **Payment: At the end of each month, after all scheduled lessons for that month have been completed.** **Preferred teaching approach** 1. **Play-based conversation (about 50%):** Role-play based on his interests, such as dinosaurs, shopping, cooking, animals, police, and firefighters. I can share his interests in advance. 2. **Monthly outing (once a month):** A short visit to a café or child-friendly play facility to practice everyday English. I will accompany you. 3. **Free conversation:** Your usual conversational teaching style, using books or activities as appropriate. I would appreciate discussing lesson plans in advance. **My goal** is for my son to express himself naturally and confidently in English and enjoy it as a language for communication, not just a school subject. Depending on his progress, we may introduce phonics after about six months. **Additional information** * I will be present during all lessons and outings for my son's safety. * A résumé, resident registration certificate, and identity verification are required. * A trial lesson is required.
